Education & School Support Program

We support access to education for orphans and vulnerable children by providing school materials, learning support, and educational assistance to ensure every child has a chance to succeed.

Description

The Education & School Support Program of EMMASAC Tourism Society is designed to ensure that orphans and vulnerable children have access to quality education. We believe education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty.

Many children in Burundi face barriers such as lack of school materials, uniforms, and financial support. Our program works to remove these obstacles and help children remain in school.

Our Approach

We work closely with families, schools, and local authorities to identify children in need and provide targeted educational support. Our approach focuses on inclusion, sustainability, and child protection.

We prioritize the most vulnerable children, including orphans, children from poor households, and those at risk of dropping out of school.

Key Activities

  • Distribution of school materials (books, notebooks, pens, uniforms)

  • Support with school fees where possible

  • Assistance to orphaned and vulnerable learners

  • Collaboration with schools and community leaders

  • Monitoring school attendance and progress

Expected Impact

  • Increased school enrollment and attendance

  • Reduced school dropout rates

  • Improved learning conditions for vulnerable children

  • Brighter future opportunities through education
