Description

The Economic Empowerment & Livelihoods Program of EMMASAC Tourism Society aims to reduce poverty and dependency by supporting vulnerable families, women, and youth to become economically self-reliant.

Many households in Burundi struggle due to unemployment, low income, and limited opportunities. This program focuses on creating sustainable livelihoods that improve household income and long-term resilience.


Our Approach

We promote community-based economic solutions by identifying local opportunities and empowering beneficiaries with practical skills and resources. Our approach prioritizes sustainability, dignity, and local ownership.

Special attention is given to women, youth, and families caring for orphans and vulnerable children.
